What I remember is fish on Tuesdays, honey chicken for every birthday, licking the bowl after you made a cake, lemon curd at Easter, sausage rolls at Christmas. I remember the time you had lots of strawberries and made lots of strawberry things, the time you made me an ice-cream birthday cake and honey and lemon when I was ill. I could list memories like these all day, but I think two things deserve a special mention: Coffee cake, for being my all time favourite cake and for being able to cheer me up with a cuppa anyday. And finally noodles with ketchup and cheese, an all time Saturday night favourite and a meal I can actually make for myself!
